Have You Learned Animal Telepathy Yet?

Have You Learned Animal Telepathy Yet?

May 08, 2021

Are you a lifelong learner? Are you always in pursuit of knowledge and information to better yourself? For many people, learning and growing intellectually is as essential to as breathing air, drinking water, or sharing how cute our cats are on Instagram. We have always strived to learn something new. We face a problem, we whine about it, then we teach ourselves how to overcome it. Sometimes when we have free time and we yearn for knowledge, we buy an online course that can help us better ourselves. However, there are some strange courses that one may wonder how and why anyone would take them. Yet there is something to be learned even from these oddities.

Talk to Me, Rover

A prime example is this course entitled “Communicating with Your Animal, Telepathically.” You might be thinking that this is just a clickbait title, and the course is actually teaching animal behavioral patterns or training your dog using treats. Sadly, this is not the case. The goal of the curriculum is to show you literally how to use telepathy to speak to your pets. If you have $21 burning a hole in your pocket, you can try it out. Who knows! You may find out your dog is actually a North Korean sleeper agent or maybe your cat yearns to be one of the many cats featured on Instagram.

Courses to Suit Anyone

Another interesting course offered on the World Wide Web shows you how to become your own spiritual authority by teaching you the ways of Faery Shamanism. This knowledge, according to the lecturer, will bring you happiness and abundance. You will also be able to shapeshift your destiny. Imagine that. Shapeshifting. Then there is the course, “Becoming a Jedi” for only $25. Many of us want to learn the Jedi ways. So why not! The Jedi ways via an online class educating hundreds or even thousands of young Jedis. That would surely make Vader’s skin crawl. Speaking of crawling skin, perhaps the online class, “My Seaweed Looks Weird: An Introduction to Seaweed Parasites” would be more appealing to you. Definitely not something on my list of classes to take.

Zombie Apocalypse Coming

Although the chances of a zombie outbreak are as high as you falling off the edge of the world while sailing east, there is a course to teach you how to survive it so you are prepared when it does. They claim that once you take their classes, you will be able to “keep yourself, your family, and those you love alive after the coming zombie apocalypse.” The lectures include gems like “Remember Zombies are not your friends,” “Bug out Bag basics,” and 56 other outstanding themes. You might think that there are at least some survival instructions, but the whole curriculum is basically based on Zombie movies and what the protagonists have or haven’t done.

Reflect on the Ideas and Dig Deeper

Despite the absurdity of those online courses, there are some lessons to be learned from them. Not the actual lessons they teach. God no! But looking past the absurdity they tutor, you can draw some valuable marketing and business lessons from them. For example, the “Communicate With Your Animal Telepathically” addresses a very profound problem any pet owner has – communicating with their pets. The solution may not be your cup of tea, but the problem definition is spot on.

From the shamanism and Jedi course, you can take how to transfer your hobby/interest into a tight niche business. People are into all kinds of interesting stuff, so don’t be afraid to work a niche. Know your niche inside and out and believe wholeheartedly in what you’re offering. Furthermore, you must understand your target audience better than they know themselves.

The Zombie course teaches us how to bend some other product’s popularity to our advantage. Using the most current craze to advertise your product is not a new concept, but what you can learn from this course is how to implement your product as a natural attachment. Furthermore, “The Coming Zombie Apocalypse” commands a sense of urgency, which is one of the cornerstones of any ad.

Lessons Learned

My point is that there are lessons to be learned everywhere you look. Finding ways to let others know about the products or services you sell is an ongoing challenge as a business owner. Lessons learned from these courses and their instructors are lessons that help expand how you can think through some of those challenges. You can better yourself with knowledge, even from the most unexpected of places. So chuckle a little and keep an open mind, always and – may the force be with you and your puppies.
